3 Simple Steps
After you've purchased your vehicle:
It may take a couple of weeks for your dealership to send us your paperwork. Once we receive and review your file, you’ll then get an email from M&M~ MMREGSERVICE2@GMAIL.COM
confirming all instructions of what’s needed to complete your CA registration. Sometimes this email ends up in the Spam folder, so please be on the lookout for it in all inboxes. If customer does not acknowledge our initial email, we’ll follow up with a phone call as well.

After you receive our email instructions:
Please read through our email carefully to understand what is needed before we can complete your registration.
Our goal is to receive all required items before the temporary permit on your windshield expires ~ or ~ We must receive all items (including any fees owed) within 20 days from the date your Smog or Verification is done to avoid penalties.

After you send us everything:
Once we have all required items, it takes us a few business days to process.
(for customers who pay fees through the DMV, delays will occur, taking up to 20 days to complete on your behalf).
We’ll email you a USPS tracking number once we’ve mailed out your completed registration card with plates and tags.

It may take a couple of weeks for us to receive your paperwork from the dealership~ your sales rep would’ve given all your paperwork to their title clerk as they need to finalize everything within their title department before it's sent to us. At that point we will email you with all further instructions. However, if the dealership told you what items are required, such as a CA smog certificate, verification, etc~ you can work on getting those done and mail the originals to our address below. Otherwise we will need to wait till we receive and review your paperwork to confirm what's needed, including any fees owed. You may call your dealership's title clerk to get a better update in the meantime. (The drive away permit they gave you will suffice in the meantime).

CA Vehicle Verification- we are not able to accept scanned copies. ORIGINAL form must be mailed to us!
(You as the customer DO NOT SIGN the bottom OR A NEW FORM WILL BE REQUIRED, only the verifiers signs).
A vehicle verification is the same thing as a free VIN inspection at any California DMV. Most times you don’t even have to go inside, nor do you need an appointment. Usually there’s an outdoor area where you just pull your vehicle up and an agent will come check your vin numbers, then they will provide the form and that is the original form you must mail to us. Should you need to go inside at all, you do not need to wait in their lines, simply ask for a verifier who can provide the inspection/form for you. You do not need to fill out any paperwork or pay them any fees as we already have all required documents from the dealership to register your vehicle.
You may also use a private verifier but they charge small fees.

Any process started at the DMV will remain as incomplete. Since the dealer sends us all of the original documents along with the sales tax check for the state of California you will be unable to complete your registration at the DMV. We are DMV business partners which allows us to print registration cards and assign your plates in house. I can assure you, we have a quick turnaround time as long as we receive everything from customer in a timely manner.

If you've already paid fees at the DMV, we'll need you to mail us a copy of that receipt showing fees paid, along with the items stated in your email. If there was a discrepancy in your payment, we'll advise on any remaining balance or possible reimbursement.

The amount owed is strictly for CA registration fees or CA sales tax that were not included at the time of your purchase. We do not charge customers any fees for our services.

ALL new/used vehicles entering CA from another state require a California smog certificate, unless the vehicle is 100% ELECTRIC. A digital copy is sent to the DMV, but please send us a physical copy for our records.

Titles all come from Sacramento and usually arrive 3-5 weeks after your registration is completed~ at that point it will be delivered to your lien holder, or directly to you if the car is paid off.

Due to the large amount of mail we receive daily, we advise all customers to send their mail with a tracking number so that you know when it’s delivered to us~ Since we receive a lot of mail per day, our staff immediately checks to see if we have all required items from the customer, and then we process accordingly. If any fees are owed, please be sure to include your payment within your same envelope or submit payment before your other documents arrive to avoid delays. Usually takes us a few business days to process once we have everything. We’ll then email you a tracking number once we’ve mailed out your completed registration with plates and tags via USPS.

No, we do need the ORIGINAL vehicle verification form to complete your registration. You are welcome to make a copy for yourself, but you'll need to MAIL us the Original form. DO NOT SIGN the bottom or a new form will be required! Only the verifier signs it.

If you want to avoid the DMV, you can google “private vehicle verifier near me” to make arrangements. Their fees vary. Or we can assist in finding one for you.

You may google any CA weigh master or weight scale near you~ They'll provide the certificate confirming all the information we need to know to register your vehicle correctly. The Original signed form must be mailed to us. (We can not accept scanned copies).
Weight certs are NOT needed for BRAND NEW TRUCKS.

Phone lines are open 8am-2pm pacific from Monday-Thursday, and 8am-12pm on Fridays. Closed weekends and holidays. If you get our voicemail, we are either closed or on the other line. Unfortunately, no. We only issue standard CA blue and white plates. You may order legacy/ custom/ personalized plates through the DMV’s website after we complete your title. Doing so beforehand can cause delays in your registration process.

Yes, we can transfer Personalized or Handicap plates. Once you get our email with instructions, please reply stating your request to transfer plates so we can provide the correct form.
You’ll need to mail the original completed form to us. There will also be a transfer fee but we’ll confirm that amount once all paperwork is received.

Sending through regular mail is fine, however most customers send us their items through Certified Mail, that way you have a tracking number to know when we receive it. Please be patient as we do receive a high level of mail/payments daily, and we process in the order as received. If you've sent paperwork but haven't paid, or vice versa, then we'll hold it until we receive everything in full. Once we do have everything that was needed from you, it can take up to 1-3 business days to be completed~ at that point you will receive an email confirmation letting you know we have mailed out your Registration, Plates, and Tags out to you through USPS with tracking.

How to pay fees:
If there is a remaining balance for registration fees or sales tax that were not included at the time of your purchase, you may submit payment using one of the following options: (No debit/credit cards or personal checks)
(We pay fees directly to the DMV on your behalf. If you prefer to send a check payable to DMV we can process it at the DMV, however, the turnaround time at DMV can take up to 20 working days. If payable to M&M we can process in-house within 2-6 working days.)
